Default 240 performance camshafts

i have a 1985 245 canadian spec car and i am wondering if the car has an ipd vx camshaft of something similar and how to tell if that is the case without tearing the engine apart. the previous owner mentioned that he did something to the camshaft to give it more power back in 2002 and he did a lot to the car including bilstien shocks, ipd anti-sway bars and custom exhaust. the car also seems to have more high end power than the average 240. any suggestions on identifying the camshaft would be appreciated.

There is a marking on the rear side of the cam. It will have the stamp of the cam profile.

but if the camshaft isn't stock, wouldn't that be for the original camshaft?

RSI and ipd mark the cams also. I don't remember what numbers/letters they use but there is a thread over on Turbobricks about camshafts and it has the markings.

I wouldn't worry about it too much
