Default The Voltage Regulator of Death!!

hiya, so i replaced the voltage regulator on my 92 volvo 240 after reading lots of expert advice on these here forums and it made my car start! I drove it from where it was down the street into my driveway and turned it off and now it doesnt want to start again!? what happened?

disconnect the negative battery terminal...pause....re-connect it. I replaced my MAF and other sensors etc...and found my car start horribly....I did the battery thing and it ran perfect........................now my cat converter is shot....dam!!

If you suspect charging problems measure the battery during idle, it should be around 14 volts.

so i figured out why it didnt want to start again, my shifter was in park but ever so slightly not in place so the car refused to start. i barely tap my gear shift into place and it starts up with no problem. wow.

now i need to replace the turbo seal to make my car stop smoking...
