Default 240 wanting to cut out!

Ok....So on my 240 everyonce in a BLUE moon I go to step on the clutch to come to neutral at a light or stop sign or to change gears and it feels like it wants to cut out on me. Seems a little odd. I think it has happened maybe 3 times since I have been driving it. What gives? Someone told me to adjust the clutch cable. I know it's hard to diagnose this just by description, but anyone have any insight? Thanks!

Likely the throttle body is sticking. When you stop it goes into idle mode and if the throttle body is gummed up it will almost stall. I use to have to clean the tb on my 740 every 10k. I used carb cleaner and never replace the paper gasket.

Another possibility could be that you have a hole in the big intake tube. They usually open where you can't see them like underneath. You may be albe to feel it but it's best to take it off and inspect it.
