CUT IN AND OUT STALL HELP!!!!
Hello well here I go again LOLOL>> I have this problem now the car was running fine and then it started to cut out when started and the I would have to keep giving it gas to keep it running then it would be fine but then would start again. I checked The Codes and found that the code was 121 which is the Mass Air Meter.>> So I have this question is this the problem the fule relay has been replaced the plugs wires cap and every thing else the speed sensor and so on. So when I checked the codes this was the only one please let me know think if I replace it then I should be cool right?????/

I did reset and still did the same thing. once it is started it is fine but then will die so really strange the car was running fine should I change the airbox sensor and the hoses and every thing that connects to the Mass air meter. I was also wondering if it was the idle control val ?

RE: CUT IN AND OUT STALL HELP!!!!
It just started it does not stall when you are driving but once I get it started it will run but not that good. I no I had a Saab that did the same thing and it was the Mass Air meter if it was not would the car give me the ocde 121 if it was not the mass air meter? I know that all the plastic going to and from the Mass has never been replaced so I guess it would not be a bad Idea to replace. Let me know what else you think I might want to check.... It seems to be running rich when It starts and a little smoke some times

RE: CUT IN AND OUT STALL HELP!!!!
Well I started it this morning and it was fine but the RPM was high then when to normal. I ssem to run bad for awhile but then was good. Then I drove and then turned it off then started it agian no problem then again no problem. Then I tried it and the check e light did not go out fast like it does some times. Then I checked the codes after I drove it and on codes all111 but I cleared them out last night but it seems like the mass Air code would have come back. But I guess if it was going out every now and then it probly would not. Any way then It did not stall or any ting but it really seem to be running fast about 1000 rpm then droped to 600 then went up to 800 or so. but then ran fine ran it until it got to normal op temp so as not to miss any thing... Tried it again and it started right up as always. But it is strange I had a mass air code but not now what happen? I still should replace the Mass air meter you think I have a good one comiing to replace it with..Let me know your thouhts Please....

RE: CUT IN AND OUT STALL HELP!!!!
I had a very simaler problem a while ago. Try disconecting the 02 sensor and see if the cutting out stops. If it does then its time to replace it. Keep in mind it might still run a little rougher then perfect with it disconected but shouldnt stall if this is the problem.

RE: CUT IN AND OUT STALL HELP!!!!
Dude, don't just throw Money at the problem that Air-Mass Flow Meter is like $300 Beans so check it out I think it may be, Like a Exhaust leak, that thing has 1. Header ($300) 2. Catalitic Converter ($350.00)3. Baffle Damper (looks like a muffler, but it ain't $75) 4. pipe connecting to the real Muffler 5. The long Muffler. 6. Tail Pipe. Oh yeah for the Mass Air Sensor you can remove it and look at it, in the light look at the Fillaments make sure they are conneted if all the Fillaments are connected than it is not the Mass Air Sensor. I think the problem is and LISTEN!!!!, THERE IS A LITTLE THERMOSTAT STICK IN YOUR AIR BOX IN FRONT OF YOUR AIR FILTER IT IS FOR MOUNTAIN LIVING IT IS A THEMOSTAT (A STICK POPS OUT AND CLOSES YOUR TRAP DOOR IN YOUR AIR BOX $20 REPLACE THIS LITTLE BRASS STICK SHOULD RUN FINE AFTER THAT). It is made so that exaust is recycled through the system so cold air don't go through ( I snaped it out and replaced the stick then I super glued it back in, I just replaced it again like two months ago). Contact SWEEDISH ENGINEERING, they have like three locations in the US. be cool man C-Ya
