Okay, I have been looking for hours for parts to an 87 242. I want performance. turbo upgrades, lips, stance kits, the whole shebang, but I can find NOTHING useful! and is beginning to get old. Where is everyone getting their parts?

and what happened to EVOLVE? they had the perfect stuff, but they seem to no longer exist...

Well, since 242's last year was, oh, may be 1983, I doubt you'll find anything...

 

Body kits are hard to find. I'm not a real fan of them. But you may find some good stuff. 240's had some spoilers and my favorite: the louvers for the rear window (hard to find). Lowering the car is pretty common, once again I'm not a fan but IPD has some lowering springs but RSI really seems to have the best performance stuff (lowering and correcting the suspension, manifolds and cam upgrades). I just looked there, and I remembered them having some really nice cams, but couldn't find them. Calling them may be better to really see what they have.

Keep in mind, the last 240 rolled out 19 years ago. Given that most folks owning 240's today are not wealthy and are just keeping them on the road versus major performance mods, it makes it very tough to stay in business providing performance niche items. RSI is good, Ben at Kaplhenke, and Josh at yoshifab...all good guys who provide some really cool stuff. Repops of the Group A spoiler are available (I don't care for it but that's just me). Then there's IPD and FCPGroton. Also Knox Motorsports and KG Trimming.
