245 Wagon Suspension Rebuild
Hiya,
New to the forum here. I just acquired a clunky, saggy, and noisily sprung 240 wagon. Got it on a lift and realized that I need new bushings all around, new struts all around, a handful of bumper, stopper, plates, etc, and new ball joints. I'm a little wary of buying crap parts, but not interested in spending a bajillion dollars on performance. Its a daily knockaround/beater car. Just fishing for opinions. I saw good package deals on FCP for all this stuff, but is the IDP stuff better? Any recommendations/suggestions/fingers pointed in the right direction would be helpful.
thanks.

Buy high quality rubber goods, shocks and bushings. Other hard goods of intermediate price will serve you well. The harder the job, or higher the safety factor, the better the parts you want to use. Ipd and FCP as well as local parts vendors can serve you well. There's lots of good stuff at the salvage yard, too.
