I've just gotten a 1987 240DL station wagon with the extra third seat in the back.

The problem is, I can't get that seat to close up. There seems to be something holding the seat down, preventing it from folding up to close up so that I can have a full flat area in the back...

Any thoughts on what I'm missing would be appreciated.
