hi! just wanna say i'm happy to be here! just got a 1988 740 GLE with 175,000miles. hope somebody would guide me about my high beam headlight problem. i got it with a busted left highbeam headlight, went to buy a replacement and when i installed it ,it still doesn't work and now when i open my headlights the wipers turns on too! and wheni use theleft turnsignal on,the dim headlight which is on the outer side blinksand showing a lesser amount of light compared to the right side..the lightbulbtried to take it off and put back the old busted one, nothing change. hope you could help me out, i'm already loving this volvo even if the interior headliner is coming down and hearing whinning noise that comes with the engine speed and now this headlight/wiper issue... but still i love the ride.any help would be appreciated.Thanks!!
