Default 740 Primary Ignitions

Does anyone know of a good source for salvaged Primary Ignitions? My ECU is one of the "541's" (89 Volvo 740 Turbo manual trans) that didn't cross over much, and I'd like to find a matching primary backup igntion too. Many thanks for the replies!

If you're looking for ecu's and icu's for your car they are still quite common. Because you have LH2.2 injection the only turbo ecu is the 541 as equipped from the factory. When the 541 failed, the dealer replacement unit was the 591 which, of course, is a bit more uncommon. The 591 is a bit faster and features a pc board that is "chippable" should you go crazy and want to run richer fuel maps for more boost. Check on turbobricks.com in the wanted section as the 541 sells for cheap. Up until a month ago I was sitting on a 591 but ended up selling it to a fellow in Norway...

Thanks Swift. I actually procured another 541 ECU....now looking for the mated Primiary Ignition up above the gas pedal. Mine is a German blue label with code "0 261 201 012" Surely gotta be one out there somewhere.
