92 240 timing belt broke
Yes it is so when the belt broke you most likely bent a few valves. You could either put on a new belt and then do a compression test or pull the cam cover and cam and pump compressed air into each cylinder and see if it holds pressure. Use a leak down tester to do this.
Thanks Everyone! I am driving 100 miles to put a new belt, tensioner, and waterpump on. I didn't wat to do it out in her driveway at 20 degrees if I would have to deal with bent valves, and pulling the head.
