Default 740 sunroof gasket

MY son's 1988 sunroof nolonger seals up correctly It lloks like the gasket is dried up and nolonger fills the gap between the sunroof and the roof.
I ahve not been able to locate a source for a replacement gasket. WOuld any one have a cheap option that doesn't look too bad?

the gasket isn't even waterproof, its just to keep debris out.

if its leaking water, the drain hoses are plugged. there's 4, one in each corner of the 'tray' that the sunroof is in. the front two go down the A pillars, the rear two go down the C pillars on a sedan (and probably on a wagon, but I'm not sure. on a sedan, you can SEE the rear drain hoses in the trunk, they connect to a Y (the other leg goes to the rear vent tray under the parcel shelf), and hence to a hose that drains out the bottom of the car.
