Hi folks, I have a 1976 245dl wagon. After it gets good and warm it idles horribly, runs really rough, but as soon as you give it gas, it smooths out, as far as I can tell.

Any ideas? Not sure where to start first. I don't speak fluent Volvo yet, but working on it. Love how easy these things are to work on, and that you can ACTUALLY work on them and fix them.

Appreciate any help.

 

I'd say adjust the idle... and check for vacuum leaks... cracked hoses and what not... good luck!

 

oh yeah, and maybe clean the injectors...
