780 Starting Issue
Hello,
I have an '89 780 4 cyl. Turbo I've owned for several years. For the past three, my sister has been using it has her primary transportation.
The car has 140k, and all maintanence has been taken care of since new. The last time I had it in the shop for a tune-up, I was told everything was fine.
Just tonight, she was driving home when suddenly the radio and power to the brakes and steering went out. The car slowly lost power and she shut it off. When I arrived, all accessories and lights operated fine, but the car would just not crank. There were no clicks, just nothing.
All help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Check both leads to the battery for tightness and cleanliness. Make sure that the earth (ground)lead is clean and tight where it joins the chassis/frame. Also check the earth (ground) lead from the engine to the frame.
