Hello everyone, I have a quick question regarding my brother's 82 244. Should the fuel gauge read and display the fuel level with the key on? I tried to start it, but it just cranks and cranks. I noticed the fuel gauge was reading naught, so I figured I would ask before purchasing 5 gallons of fuel that might just sit in the tank for a while.
