New wiper motor installed Dec '07. Occasionally, wiper would act like no rain on windows-"rubby". Fast speed not fast enough. Then,,, Wiper transmission broke and new one put in this week. Last night (after hitting notorious road bump, by the way) all wiper functions stopped working EXCEPT fast speed-BUT fast speed was real fast/great! Turned car off. Hour later started car up all wiper functions fine. In case the all-but-fast speed failure happens again, is this a loose wire, electrical problem or does the wiper motor overheat?because passenger wiper occasionally makes noise now since mechanic put a washer on it this week after recommending new wiper arm needed in future?
