Default '86 B230FT no injector pulse

Kind of stuck here so any help would be much appreciated. I have a no start condition on my 760. Car has sat around for many years so I just pulled the intank fuel pump and replaced it as well as flush the system. Injectors were stuck so I pulled them and got them working again on the bench however they will not fire in the engine. I have 12VDC on the green but no ground ever. Does this ground signal come from the ECU?

If I power up the ignition and hit the grey wire with ground the injectors are doing their thing.

Another question...dropped one of the injector tips (green plastic things that probably have a proper name) into the head. Must have went down into the cylinder since I can't see it although I wouldn't think the valve would open far enough so maybe it's just hidden on the close side and a small mirror will find it. I don't need it as I have new orings and these parts to put on and I would imagine it would just break up and go out through the exhaust. Any reason for concern?

Thanks!
