Hey all..for a 1987 240 sedan, brake lite fuse.......Haynes manual says 16amp volvo manual says 8amp...I was blowing fuses with the 8amp and searched and searched and found no grounding or shorts...it's my daughters car and she can't remember what fuse was in there...16 seems to hold.....I just don't want to melt my harness if 16 is wrong and I'm missing something with the 8.....any input would be appreciated......

 

The inside of the fuse panel cover should have a chart listing the amp ratings of the various fuses. If you mean fuse #7, that chart and my owner's manual both show 8A for that fuse.

Where do you see 16A in the Haynes manual?

Do you have cruise control?
