Default 88 240 MAF question(s)

Hi,
i was looking for a MAF sensor I could use in the interim if the good one I have on my car goes bad. i noticed that some MAF sensors on ebay specify 89-93 volvo 240s, but look exactly the same as the on my 88. is there a real difference between the years?

also, i was wondering the best way to optimize the air/fuel mixture by turning the screw on the MAF.
thanks

the LH2.2 cars (82(?) to 88) use one MAF, and the LH2.4 cars (89+) use another.

the screw on the LH2.2 MAF is used to adjust the idle air mixture, there's a procedure with a LED hooked up to a test point, car fully warmed up, and adjust the screw so the LED is on/off about 50-50. The LH2.4 MAF doesn't have this screw at all.
