alright, so i own an 88' 740 turbo and the headliner looks like hell. I need to replace it in the worst way. problem is: I don't have much cash, so I will need to do it by myself. I also need to work around a sunroof. I want to start from scratch, not repair the existing mildewy droopy headliner. Does anybody have any tips on where to buy and how to go about it? I'd appreciate it very much.

 

Most of the time they reuse the cardboard peice.Take a wire brush and clean the old foam off till you get to the board.Then find an Upholstery shop in your area or someone that deals with the material.Then buy a can of the 3M spray adhesive.Spray both the fabric and the board and let it dry for a couple and then put the fabric on.Work the fabric in good then cut the holes that you need to for the sunroof ETC.
