The bolt holes on my alternator housing keeps getting elongated. Replaced the alternator end frame housing, bolt, and bushings 3 years ago,and now the alternator is "wobbly" again. First noticed the belt misalignment when replacing the water pump recently. Has anyone tried to drill out,and bush the housing ? Is this a problem on the 240 ? I have a new bolt,and bushings, but hate to spend a hundred bucks for a new alternator,when it might wear again.
