89 240 Wagon Gas smell in the cabin
Hello everybody. I can not seem to track down the source of a gas smell in the cabin. I checked the steel and rubber gas and vacuum lines and external pump both running and not. I detect no leaks in the engine compartment. The recently replaced fuel tank (used) is not leaking, and no leak at the filler tube connection. Changed the in tank pump O ring gasket
No gas smell with windows closed. Faint gas smell with windows open and driving, but only after 8-10 minutes or so driving from a cold start. Seems like less on no smell with a full tank. From searching past posts I know the smell has to be coming from the front of the car, but no luck finding it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
