89 240DL hard starts, barely idles and dies with throttle
fixed a leaky rear main seal on a good running 240 dl only to have the car become hard starting and barely able to idle. Acts as if its fuel starved. I can get it idle on all four but seems to heat up quickly as if its lean and slowly dies. Checked the fuel pumps, jumped the left side of the #4 and #6 fuse car runs the same, you can hear the fuel pump. Pulled the lines off the filter and blows threw easily. No codes thrown. Everything went smoothly with the removal and install of the transmission nothing was binding. The battery was unhooked to remove the starter. Gas tank was near empty when I pulled into the garage (Daughters car) Jacked back and front of car three foot off ground, might of shook up the gas tank debris. The only thing I can think off is I might of bumped the crank sensor positioner, but the car starts. Rectifying wheel off a notch? timing advanced? I will have to get a fuel pressure tester tonight and see what the pressure is. Any other ideas?

40lbs fuel pressure. the crankshaft positioner sensor wires where crushed but still connected. Cant get any ohms out of the center and side connections. New one ordered. How do I check the timing when it wont stay running anymore? I cant see that I messed up and put the fly wheel on wrong.. If the new CSP dosent start it can I back/forth the timing to get it to run to figure out if the fly wheel is off a notch?
