Trying to figure out what's going on with my 740. Until today it's ran great. Today while driving it stalled out suddenly- no sputters just shut down. After sitting for about 5 minutes it restarted , drove a few miles then happened again, and again until I made it home. I swapped out thge fuel pump relay with one from my other 740 still stalled out. I can hear both fuel pumps are working. I checked the radio supression relay and swapped it- no help. I did notice that the clip going into the radio supression relay has deteriorated a bit but could feel the relay working. No check engine light or codes on port 2. Where else should I look? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

well, it could be spark or fuel. if you have a timing light, when it wont start, hook up the timing light to the #1 spark plug wire and see if it strobes when you crank.

 

Crankshaft Position Sensor is what I'd look at.
