Default '91 940 SE SERVICE SOCKET FOR REMOTE STARTER SWITCH

Can anyone tell me where this is located in the engine compartment? Thanks.

Some have them some don't. There is a blue plug in the battery area. If it has 2 wires then it might have it. If it doesn't work just tap into the small wire at the starter.

According to the wiring diagram specific to the 1991 940 SE, it should have this socket. However, I still cannot find it close to the battery. Do you have any other suggestions?

Sorry is your battery on the drivers or passenger side?
The plug is on the drivers side.(I should have been more specific before)
