Default 92 240 electrical

Hi, I am hoping perhaps someone can help me with a strange problem. My 92 low mileage 240 has had a dead battery if not driven for a day or two over a perieod of two weeks. It turns over right away when jumped, but power drains shortly thereafter. Someone suggested the power door locks in this model have been known to drain the battery. I disconnected the fuse that powers the door locks, and haven't had any more problems with a dead battery. Problem solved.(partially) But, the speakers, overhead light, trunk light and a few other incidentals, (but annoying when not working) are also connected to this fuse. Can anyone possibly lead me through disconnecting the power door locks so I can return the fuse so the other things will work? Is there a door lock motor in each door or is there just one? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

When I saw your question I was wondering where the relay was located. I've never really looked for it before, but I looked it up in a repair manual. The relay is located behind the center console near the top (somewhere around the vents). It should look something like the pic below with . Just pull the relay and the battery drainage should stop.

Hi, thanks for the advice. What exactly does the relay do? If I unplug it will all the other things work?

all the relay is really is giving the locking system power when need be. and just about it. if you disconnect nothing else should be effected.
