My power windows dont go up or down..(all 4) ..i cant find a wiring diagram anywhere..my dads an electriciian and feels he could fix this if he had a diagram or a little idea about which wires to look at...anyone here can help?

Check the fuse for the A/C.

If the compressor goes bad it will blow the fuse for the A/C and the windows.

 

Thank you for that idea!! (it didn't work tho- i wish!) My AC never worked since i bought it and i think it might have actually been removed completely. but the windows did work 96% of the time. mechanic says it could be a pinched or rubbed wire in that bunch of wires you see when opening the drivers door. i see those wires, but god knows which one it is; thats why i think i need a wiring diagram to locate it and check it out. i havent been successful in finding one online. i dont have a mechanic that is trustworthy and i believe he will charge me top dollar to locate it and replace/repair it. ( i just paid him a ton for a fuel sensor and fuel pump and i dont want to go back there.. i would really love to fix these windows! But i am sure i will soon be posting questions asking which new/newer volvo is the Best buy this year... i really really appreciate your advice..Thanks again!

 

Have you checked for power at all at the window switches?
If not check and you might be loosing ground or something like that.If not trace the wires backwards and try to follow them to the fuse box or where they go.

I will try to dig up a diagram if I can.
