Default '93 240 Wagon - cracked Throttle Body

I have a '93 240 Wagon (B230F LH 2.4) it's a daily driver. The last couple of years it's had rough starts, stalls. Had it checked out many times - and many parts replaced.

Now we've moved to Canada and the new mechanic says we've got a cracked Throttle Body. He thinks that was the problem all along, but I know the throttle body was cleaned six months earlier so I doubt it.
The correct part ( #3517481 ) isn't made anymore, and I haven't been able to find a good used one anywhere in North America or Europe.

Is it reasonable to fix a cracked Throttle Body or should I just keep looking for a used one. Can't drive the car until I find one. I don't want to let this car go - it's still an infant at 140k miles original.

The throttle body isnt under alot of pressure/ stress.
Depending on how wide the crack is i would use jb weld to patch it up.
If you have to clamp it someway overnite while it sets that would help.

If not i have plenty of throttle bodys available for purchase my friend.with or with out the tps just hit mr up!

Never heard of a throttle body being cracked on these redblocks. Even if it is cracked you should be able to source one. The same engine and fuel injection system was used in the 240/740/940s so you should be able to find a used one. Google "Volvo b230 throttle body" and you will find some.
