93 244 speed sensor

Hi just picked up this 93 244 Free) but I broke the speed sensor bracket trying to change the sensor (smart) Wondering if I could use an older distibuter with the impulse sensor inside? Thanks in advance.

It would be easier to just pull the transmission and replace the bracket.

You would have to change wiring and I think computers as well.
