Whenever I press the brakes while moving there is shaking coming from the front of the car. I've had the brakes inspected and they're supposedlyfine.Any ideas?

 

Most likely it is warped rotors,your inspection might have been limited to pads (standard sloppy procedure).

 

I would also suggest that it is warped rotors, you may be able to have a good shop "turn" the rotors, meaning they will shave the uneven part off. But that depends on how much metal is left on the rotors, you may just need to replace them.

 

Most likely I will just replace them if thats the problem. Is there anything special about changing the pads and rotors on this car? I've only done brakes on domestics.

 

Nothing really "special".
Actually, these cars are pretty simple to change Brakes.

Edit: You can also try this if your rotor is warped:
drive the car on the freeway, and when there is nobody around you step on the brakes pretty good till you come down to about 25
Then repeat this (maybe five or so times)by driving back to ~65 and stepping on the brakes. It should feel a lot better better, but it will not fix it.
