Car set this code yesterday along with dying a few times on the way home. In rush hour traffic I might add! Damn those commuter car horns. Mr Chilton says that a load signal to the MFI is absent. He neglected to say where the hell it comes from or how to troubleshoot it! Can anybody pick up where Mr Chilton left off?

My cheater book doesn't give much more info. But I think that is for the pick up module in the Dist.
I will be able to find out more info tomorrow.

 

Thanks, it's a good place to start looking in my book also. I'll also check wiring diagrams surrounding the distributor for components matching the accronym they use.
