94 940 wiper problem
i have searched endlessly with only finding the same results. Here is the situation
Cleaned Ice of windsheild, jumped in and started the car, turned on wipers, driver side ok, passenger, ice on blade stuck to a piece of ice I didnt get and now the wiper wont move. I can hear it moving inside though.
Correct me if I am wrong, but from what i gathered I have to, remove arms and coverings, go under hood remove the three 10mm hex's remove panel, remove wiper motor and recalibrate into proper sitting position.
Anything I missed?
Two, redid front brakes, rotors and pads, now there is a clunking sound that stops when I press the brakes, soft, clunking muffles, full down and it is gone, I was thinking of the covering behind the rotor, I might has knocked it out of place?

RE: 94 940 wiper problem
1. You might have stripped the wiper arm. Better first take of the arm and see if that's the case. Then just tightening it may work-if not you'll need a new one.
2. Hard to say but it's not the shield I think you are referring to, it doesn't "clunk". First, try to determine whichside the clunk is coming from, then recheck your work, i.e. correct pads, rotor thickness, shims, looseness, etc. Try to duplicate with the tire off the ground and spinning it while someone else steps on the brakes.
