Default 94 940t Replacing the Turbo Intake hose... anything else?

The hose from my airbox to the turbo is an oily crumbling mess. Ive ordered a new one and am wondering if there is anything else I should look at while I am installing it? Any kind of turbo maintenance?

Never had a turbo before, dont want to miss anything.

thanks!

While the hose is off, check the status of the turbo shaft for wear. Grap the nut in the middle of the impeller and move it side to side. It should move only a tiny bit, maybe a mm side to side. Then try to pull on the nut and then push. The shaft should not move in or out at all. If it does, it is on its way out. Might make the decision on which to keep easier.
