Default 940 '95 seat belt remainder

Hey, kinda silly question but it bothers me.
I have a 740 from '88 where it detects (if I recall correctly) if passengers on rear seats, or on any seat, are not wearing their seat belts and properly blinks the light in the rear ash tray and in the dashboard.

But my 940 from '95 doesn't have the light above rear ash tray, and it doesn't even flash the remainder light in the dashboard when I power the car up, nor does it blink if anyone have their seat belts on. I'm wondering if it is even implemented in every volvo vehicle? Or if it is, I believe previous owners could have disconnected it, so where should I look for it? Could the wires be disconnected under every seat?

I don't live in USA so I don't have the seperate seat belt remainder relay which I think is in the USA models. EU models use the blinker relay as far as I know.

the seat belt reminder lights are probably a USA mandated feature. the rear seat one doesn't sense anyone is in the seats, it just comes on for a few seconds after starting the car. I don't remember my 87 240 or 92 740 having a passenger sensor, it only chimed if the driver seat belt is not fastened when the car is started.

I took out the relay for that and now my car is nice and silent...whether I'm buckled or not.
