Hi all,

I'm renovating my 1993, 940 Wentworth Estate and need some information on where I can source new front and rear rubber door seals. These are the seals that fit the doors, not the door openings.

I guessing that the same seals would fit a 740 or 960 as well.

Please don't suggest eBay unless it's a definite source.

Yes, I was told their obsolete.

 

indeed, I can't even find those door seals in my circa 2003 parts catalog ("Vadis") so they've been discontinued for quite a long time.

 

They don't list them, but I'd try someone like this:

'wentworth estate', I'm betting UK

 

I just checked my 92 740 T-wagon, its got door seals only around the upper part of the doors. I swear our old 93 960 wagon had seals all the way around, but that was years ago and I probably forgot. there ARE rubber seals all the way around the door /frame/.

the front door seals are PN 1392797 (left), and 1392798 (right).
the rear door seals are PN 3528935 (left) and 3528936 (right).

volvopartswebstore.com (a volvo dealer in suburban Chicago) lists the front right ($58) and both rear sides ($98 each) as available. no front left.

of course, you can go to order these and discover they are not actually available, post-FordMoCo, Volvo's older parts supply chain is a train wreck.

Yes - the seals go round the top section of the doors, front and rear.
