After the car was 5 years old the vinyl on the top of the front doors began to pucker. I tried to straighten and re-glue the passenger door only to have it look even worse after a couple of weeks. The dealer solution is to replace the door panels at $500 each (ouch!). Has anyone out there had success at having them repaired or re-apholstered? And if so, how much did you spend? Thanks in advance for any info!

Your BEST bet is a junkyard by far. Fortunately late 740's panels are the same, don't come unglued as easily, and are plentiful in the yards. Cost should be $20-50 each... Forget about anything else!
