Question 940 td intercooler slight miss on acceleration

hi'my940 td intercooler has developed a slight miss when picking up from low revs<bombs along on motorway no problem>should i invest in an injector cleaner or could it be something more sinister requiring major surgery.

Yes, turbo diesel... Most 940's in Europe are diesels... All the way till 1998...

I'd try the cleaner, it's the cheapest potential cure you can have...

I am not a diesel mechanic but sounds like timing or fuel delivery...I would think it has something to do with your injector pump....either timing is off or it's passage ways are clogged.
