Default 940 Timing belt replacement How?

Oye! I have two 1992 volvo 940turbos, one a sedan(105K) and the other a wagon(195K). Both are red. Since I bought it, the wagon idles with a repetitive engine surge. I figured a wire or plug was dirty or loose. Yet, after replacing the plugs, the alternator belt, exhaust manifold, fluids and filters, and having a shop replace my head gasket and kickdown cable the surge persists. Albeit these repairs/maintainence procedures were not done to fix the surge but i hoped one might have done the trick and thought it best to provide a little history. Reading up on maintainence, i now see that I'm behind on my timing belt replace by...let's just say they were never replaced. I want to change them ASAP and maybe the surge as well will disappear. Can someone give my a detailed explaination of the timing belt replacement process for a B230FT or a link that will lead me through it. Haynes is inadequate. It would be greatly appreciated (and I trust you know the value of that.) yorgovernor

They should have installed a new timing belt when they did the Headgasket.

Clean the throttle body and idle motor.
