I've searched...where os the flame trap located? A pic would help.

Tell us more about the fail...what was off...CO, HC's or NOx? What year 940...n/a or turbo?

 

Its someplace under the intake manifold. Towards the back. Follow the hose that is about 1" thick that comes out of hte plastic piping from the airbox just before it attaches to the intake on the block.
