afaik, thats under the black plastic cover on the ABS unit under the hood.

wiring diagram looks like there's two relays in there. yeah, two relays, smaller one(?) is PN 9128780, the 'relay engine-pump', while the larger(?) one is 3544129 and is the 'valve relay'.

the 940 ABS manual has a whole flowchart of troubleshooting for that fault. fault code 2-1-5 indicates its the valve relay, or associated signals/circuitry. sadly, I can't scan or copy these manuals, they are copy protected.

there's a 'hydraulic modulator connector' under that cover near those relays, it has 12 pins.

step 1) measure voltage from pin 8 to ground (with ignition on), should be 12V. if OK, go to step 3. else, step 2.

step 2) ignition off, check resistance (ohms) from pin 8 to transient surge protection relay pin 2 (if you have said relay) or ABS control module pin 17 (if no transient surge relay). open circuit suggests bad wiring. 0 ohms is OK, go to step 3.

step 3) ignition off, check resistance from control module pin 27 and hydraulic modulator connector pin 2. if 0 ohms, valve relay is faulty, replace. if open circuit, then wiring problem.

there's a step 4 and 5, but I don't see how you get there.

btw, have you cleared this code, and does it recur? If it doesn't pop back up after clearing, I'd chalk it up to a transient glitch, and not worry about it.

ugh, I also see, you need a special cable adapter box to probe the pins on the ABS CU. meh.

thanks Pierce, i open the relay and found some green corrosion on the contact so i sprayed it with some caig contact cleaner and the abs bulb is gone after driving 20 miles so i believe is ok.
thanks for your help Pierce.
