I fixed my odometer today, thanks to jeff's gears!

However, the last time my odometer worked was between 5-10 years ago.My best approximations would be that i'm about 100,000 miles behind where I should be. How can I move the odometer forward? I tried just turning the gear, but that would take me literally hours to move 100,000 forward. Is there some kind of secret to moving the numbers? I'm at about 170,000 miles, and this '87 245dl has atleast 270,000 miles. I want to display it with pride!
