and another thing !
This weekend (hopefully ) I will be changing out the pass. side tail light unit on my 94 940 wagon. Any tips on doing this correctly? Any tricks I may need to know? I am getting a bulb light on the dash when braking, lens is broken and I suspect water has gotten into the socket. What say you all ?

its pretty darn easy. pull the plastic cover off the inside, unplug the connectors.. accessing the nuts that hold the tail light assembly in is a bit easier if you remove the whole D pillar interior trim piece.
the bulb failure warning comes on when the current between the left and right lights are drawing different currents. its not always the brake lights even if they only come on when the brakes are lit. make sure the ground connection to the chassis on each side is clean. I'd remove the screw, take a bit of emery cloth and sand the metal shiny, and put a little electrical grease on the connection to keep corrosion out.
