Hello i have a 85 B230A m47 240 and its been sitting for a month and a half so i decided i would be good to run the engine once and a while but when i went to crank it first it cranked for a long time and nothing happened then it backfired so loud it blew the exhaust and i finally got it to idle and tried to move it and it died so i tried again and again it didnt want to start and when i rev it on neutral it pops and bangs a lot and i put it into gear and lift the clutch it dies again im currently in The army so i dont have a lot of time to diagnose it so any help would be appriciated

 

the carburetor needs cleaning or servicing (backfire and lack of power)
