During a recent trip to the junkyard, I came across a 1995 940 Turbo. The car was amazingly clean, 130k miles on the odometer and no rust. The engine looks to be in great shape. Would it be possible to swap the B230FT into a 1992 940GL? The yard is asking $275 for the entire engine.

 

you'll need the radiator and intercooler too, all the air plumbing, the battery is relocated on the other side, the turbo has a different ECU, and has a load resistor in series with the injectors. the turbo has a beefier transmission, the AW71 vs the AW70 used on non-turbos.
