I have a 1993/1994 940 Turbo Station Wagon .... A BRILLIANT CAR !.
Unfortunately the brake light on the dash board started to light up. At first I thought that a bulb had blown, but I noticed that this is not the case.
When I drive with no lights on, the brake lights light up when I touch the brake pedal. The light on the dash board also lights up as well as the two yellow lights at the front light up.

Now when I have the driving lights on (night driving) the brake lights are on all of the time and the brake light on the dash is always lit as well !!

Can anyone help me and tell me what the problem is .

Is the bulb failure light on the dash on or the one that says BRAKE?
And let me make sure a understand this correct. When you hit the brake pedal the brake and front parking lights light up?

The bulb failure light is on the dashboard. The picture of the failure light on the dashboard is a light bulb.

To be honest I am not sure if they are the parking lights .... They maybe the indicator lights .... They are yellow and on each side at the front. Both light up when I press the brake pedal.

I have also just noticed that the bulb failure light on the dashboard also flickers when I turn on the indicators to show that I am turning left or right.

I made a mistake.
The bulb failure light blinkers only when I have the right indicator on ( as if I were turning right). It does not blink with the left indicator.

Also, it is the parking lights at the front that light up when I press the brake pedal and not the indicator lights as I mentioned earlier.

In the back of the fuse panel is a big round red relay remove it and inspect all the solder joints really good that maybe be the problem.
That is the bulb failure relay.
