This can't be too hard. But what is the bulb size for the shift indicator for a 1990 240 auto? I tried a 73, the base was right but the diameter of the bulb was just a bit too big.

 

Check with the stealer.

 

I may have to. There are so many different miniature bulbs produced. I would think the size would be the same as the instrument lights.

 

UPDATE!!! The size is 2721, common to most auto parts stores. Thank you Google!

P.S. The bulb wattages and socket sizes are listed in the owners' manual, so if you're going to all that trouble, why not list the common part number?
