Default Bushings question

Came across replacement bushings off of IPD and saw that there are rubber and polyurethane bushings for the suspension. I was curious about the difference between the ride between the two. Supposedly the ride with the polyurethane is a little more stiff and/or rough compared to the rubber ones. Would it make a considerable difference?

I would use volvo brand rubber bushings all the way around, unless you're building a track car for racing. if you do go poly, use only SuperPro brand poly, the chinese poly stuff is junk.

poly bushings will give the car a very tight ride, harsher on rough roads, less forgiving. they also likely won't last as long as OEM rubber.

Hmmmmm, good point. I tend to go on some gravel roads at least once a week. Don't think that I'll want to go to work already sore from just the ride to it.

I'd also suggest sticking with stock spring rates and boge progas shocks (or whatever they are called now, these are the OE shocks).

I put bilstein 'touring' on mine, and they are too harsh for the rougher roads around here.
