I want to change the fluid in my transmission and I am wondering should I, Or can I, drain the torque converter too?

 

Sure...do it this way.

Tranny Flush Procedure

That way you get EVERYTHING replaced. It's easy! (But it's heplful to have a helper...one person mans the drain hose, the other adds fluid through the dipstick hole. The goal is NEVER to let it run dry)
