I have an 89 240 wagon. Today leaving for work it seemed to really have a hard time getting going until it fully warmed up. Today was really not much colder than other recent days. The strange thing is that my check engine light is no longer on. It was on when I bought the car, and has been the whole time since then. (Aprox. 3 months. Fixing things as time and $$$ allows.)
But not any more.
Started the car to go home and the same things are still happening. Running as if there is a choke problem and the check engine light is off.
I'm doing some research myself, but I thought I would put it out for the collective intelligence.
Any thoughts?

 

After so much time the light will turn off but the codes are still there.

Have you checked the codes yet?

 

I have to pull the codes again, can't remember where I wrote them down.
Funny thing is, after the trouble coming home all was well running some errands last night. Also good today coming into work.
