Default Codes 113 and 232

Hello to all,

Getting a few codes on the old 1990 745 turbo.

A little background.....
Recently gave some loving to the old Brick. She needed a new timing belt, tension wheel, harmonic balance wheel and accessory belts. Finally got everything together and went for a test drive. Sounds good, much quieter than before. Especially the steering pump which was squealing quite a bit. However after a few miles and with no symptoms the check engine light comes on. So I check for codes and get the following 113 and 232 Lambda codes. What should I be looking for, a vac line or injector leak and the O2 sensor? Any other ideas are welcome.

Thanks Greg-

Check for leaks in the intake system. Since you most likely had this plumbing apart when doing your work I would suspect a hose not on properly. The area to check is anywhere between the AMM and the throttle body.

Ok I'll take another look at the vac lines.

One other strange thing happened that I forgot to mention.
The gas gauge needle moved in the wrong direction when driving.
It read almost empty which is correct and then the dial increased to half tank?
Strange but I'm not sure if this is related to the code.

Codes are pretty iffy, especially on the OBD1 systems. I wouldn't rely on them for competent diagnosis; they are helpful as a guide but more likely than not, not a reliable "solve all".
