Default daylight savings

Monday morning something odd happened when I turned the key in my trusty volvo--it wouldn't start. It was completely dead. I looked at the clock and it had died at exactly 1:59 that is exactly when we where supposed to roll back our clocks to 1. Are these cars fancy enough to know when daylight savings starts? especially after it was changed to a week later? Was someone playing with my head? or is it a conspiracy? is bush watching us in our cars and changing our clocks for us?

I'm sorry I can't help with your situation. Maybe you can help me since we both go no reponse to our individual posts. My problem is with my 2004 V40. The clock is 1 hr fast and I can't for the life of me find instructions in the manual on adjusting the clock. Please respond if you have any idea.

Thanks,

Paul

This is the 240 740 and 940 forum. We don't know about V40s. Our clocks just have little ***** on the dial you use to set them, we know not of your fancy new-fangled digital clocks. But I looked on the internet and it said your trip odometer reset **** sets the clock, twist it left and right to move forward and backward.
